Customer Feedback and Comments

Rik, I’ve been a long-term proponent of instruction any time I take up something new. But I’ve never had a better return on investment than our recent trip out of Freeport. Not only did you tune my sonar to a T so I could find the spots in your book; you showed me how to catch fish once I got to them. I don’t even want to think how long it would have taken me, if ever, to acquire the depth of knowledge you imparted to me in just a few hours. Your personal snapper lesson immediately led to some really nice limits and a couple of really big fish so far. I recommend your instruction to anyone who wants to be a successful offshore fisherman.

Mike said that you get emails from people telling you that you have changed their entire fishing techniques and styles. I just wanted to drop you a note and say that Mike and I are in that same crowd. We always caught more than anyone on the dock, but we had to work 5 times as hard because we were only fishing rigs and rips. We are happy that you put us on track and look forward to a long friendship with you.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.  We put a few of your tips that you emailed me last year to work. My brother nailed a 24 pounded, and the last week we that we fished last season a buddy on our boat nailed a 25 pounder.  My wife is promising to get me your snapper lessons for Christmas. Thanks from  the far east of Texas.

Rik, Thanks for all the advice and the "frank" evaluation of my electronics. I upgraded as you suggested and the results are amazing. The Furuno 582L is so awesome I can't believe it. I run 27 Knots and I don't have a speck of fuzz on the screen. I did not know that this was possible. You have given me a whole new sport with your guidance. Thank You again.

The numbers that you supplied in your book were right on. We went out on Friday 4/12 and really hammered the fish. When we fist arrived at the reef we had a school of 5-8lb Dolphin following in our wake. We were not able to catch them but we immediately marked a large amount of fish on the sounder. We fished the reef for 5 hours and caught Amber Jacks to 35lbs,Red Snapper to 22lbs (All released in good shape -if only the season were open), Beeliners to 4lbs and saw numerous dolphin (smallish). We also broke off  5-10 fish on the trip. What a great way to start the season! Keep up the good info!!
