When fishing for Amberjacks, fish in a minimum of 130 feet of water. On your sounder, amberjack are often viewed as large fish marks both on the bottom and throughout the water column. Vary the depth of your drop until you find the fish. The best go to bait is a live blue runner or piggy perch. They can also be very fun and exciting to catch on jigging gear.
